9.【原文】M: Hi, Jane.Did you buy some new shoes?

W: Hi, Carl.Yeah, I’m taking dancing classes and I need new dancing shoes.

M: Where are the classes?

W: At the local community center.I’m really enjoying it.

M: What kind of dance are you learning?

W: We’re learning a few different types of dance.So far, we have learned ballet, modern,

and tap.Of all the types, tap dance is my favorite.Ballet is pretty hard.

M: Sounds like a lot of fun.My sister Shelley is thinking of joining you in your class, but

l fear it’s already full.Besides, she fears she may be too old to learn dance lessons.She’s fifteen,

though.

W: No, our class isn’t full. You can schedule a time for her to come to one of our

classes.The first visit is free.We have our lessons every Monday evening at 7 pm.

M: OK.I’ll ask her to go next Monday.Please help her a bit.She’s a terrible dancer.

W: Me too.That’s why I’m taking lessons.
